Recently I had the opportunity to work with the girls from Boston Body Barre at their West Newton Location. They were lots of fun and easy to work with. Darren Pellegrino Photography: Boston Park Plaza Hotel

The Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers is a landmark hotel near the Bak Bay in Boston. I had the oportunity to shoot some promotional images for them recently as you'll see below. The shoot was done in the evening and my favorite shot was the exterior facade in the upper right. I used a long exposure which is a fun technique when there's trafiic and lots of cars in a city. That's how you make those streaky lines from the brake lights. They also serve as leading lines that point you toward the main subject which in this case was the hotel. Here is a follow up to the Thailand teaser. So, last Spring I did a post on some cultural headshots taken in India and I find when traveling the most interesting subjects are people. Darren Pellegrino Photography: Pairings

I just got back from an amazing trip to Thailand and I'll have more on that later along with some images as well but for now I wanted to highlight some recent commercial work. I had the opportunity to shoot Pairings restaurant located in the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. This place is really cool! I especially liked the private dining room decorated like a wine cellar. The designers did an outstanding job especially with the lighting. I can't wait to go back for dinner to try the food. Below are a few of the images created for their marketing and advertising.
